Gathered around the attractive white linen-covered ta MEMBERS of Beta Pi Chapter, 1991, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, have spent many days planning and preparing for the annual smorgasbord dinner-dance to be ., held Dec, 3 at the Legion Hall in Oakland. The first dance held in December 1953 was attended by 200 guests and since then more than 400 have attended annually. Tickets are always sold out days ahead of the affair. Proceeds go to the Crippled Childrens Hospital School, a state project of the sorority, Oakland Chapter has donated in the last seven years approximately $3,200 to the school. The members have also made drapes for the school auditorium and purchased toys and books for the school. There are 17 members in the chapter. Graham Ewens had as their guests for Thanksgiv ing, Mr. and Mrs. John Walker and son, Tommy, from Notus, Ida ho; and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Walker and daughters, Dianne, Barbara and Janet from Medford. John Walker is resident engineer over the irrigation system at Notus and Jim Walker is internal revenue agent at Medford. Both are sons of Mrs. Ewens.
