at the next chamber meeting in
December, which will be held Dec.
13 instead of the regular date of
Dec. 27 because of the many holi
day activities scheduled during
the month. This is a special meet

Portland Visit
Miss Joan Hatfield accompanied
Mrs. Alta F o s b a c k and Ivan
Fosback. all of Portland, to the
C. C. Fosback home in Dillard for
the holiday. Miss Hatfield was
here to attend -the Hennineer-Hal-
field wedding in Roseburg.
Mr. and Mrs. mil Cooper have
returned to their home in Winston
after having been called to Gold
Beach due to the Illness of their
son, Carrol, who is reported as do
ing satisfactorily. They were ac
companied by another son, Lynn.
Staff Sgt. and Mrs. Kenneth Cart
er of Boston, Mass., and their two
children, are visiting at the homes
of their parents, Mr. and Mrs.
George Carter and Mr. and Mrs.
Don Geddes in Winston. Carter is
stationed in Boston with the U. S.
Air Forces. They will return to
his base about Dec. 5.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter stack or
Winston have returned home after
