at the South Deer Creek Grange
. Hall Thursday, honoring Miss Car
olyn Hatfield, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Howard Hatfield of South
Deer Creek Road. ,
The hall was beautifully decorat-
. ed with autumn flowers. Large
baskets of brightly colored zinnias,
marigolds and chrysanthemums
were placed on the tables and about
the room. Marybelle Beckley and
Dyrma Strader were hostesses for
the . shower. Norma Hatfield and
Eva Wade were in charge of decor
ations. A beautiful linen table cloth
covered the serving table, while
the gift table was attractively cov
ered with a lace cloth. Piano selec
tions were played by the Hatfield
twins, Joyce and Jeanne.

day afternoon given at the home

the death of her son-in-law, John
Brooke, who died of a heart atlacii
early Wednesday morning.

itors. He has been a patient at
the hospital for the last several
weeks.
