The minimum acceptable bid per II Board Feet is as follows: Douglas-fir and west ern white pine $13.85, augar pine $11.85, western hemlock and other species $4.10. mis memoes me ioi lowing base rales, per M Board Feet, for stumpage including de posit for sale area betterment: $10.00 plus an additional $3.25 for the first period for Douglas-fir and western while pine, $10.00 plus and additional $1.25 for the first period for sugar pine, $3.00 plus an addi tional $0.50 for the first period for western hemlock and other spe cies and required deposit of $0.60 for slash disposal for all species. The Forest Service shall as of and effective on May 1, 1964, redeter mine the stumpage rales and rate for slash disposal for the ensiling period. In no event, however, shall rates for stumpage be established which are less than the base rates stated above, and in no event shall redcterined rates which are lower than those bid become effective for a particular species until at least the following volume of that species has been scaled and paid for: Douglas-fir and western white! pine 11.940 M Board Feet, sugar pine 660 M Board Feel, western hemlock and other species 1,200, M Board Feet.
