Wedding Event Of One of the loveliest summer wed dings was solemnized Saturday, July 9, at the All Souls Catholic Church in Myrtle Creek when Miss Kathleen Donna McNaughton be came Hie bride of Jerome Everett Scott at an eleven o'clock double ring ceremony performed by Fa ther James Dillon. The candles of the pair of seven branched can delabra were lighted by Falher Dillon prior to the service. Flank ing them were huge baskets ol white and pink gladioli and white lilies. The bride, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. McNaugh ton of Days Creek, was given in marriage by her father. Her floor length gown of w!n:i nylon chif fon was embellished with wide in sets of lace while her fingertip veil was held in place by a tiara of se auins and Dcarls. Her bniinuet was of while roses and stephanolis cen-! tered with a lariie lavender orchid. The matron of honor, Mrs. Mi chael Kirchner, wore a street length frock of embroidered laven der sheer nylon while the brides- maids. Miss Beckv Peterman and Miss Jody Ann Scott, sifter of the bridegroom, were dressed in sim ilar sheer nylon frocks in lavender embroidered with pink rosebuds. Each of the attendants wore matching headbands and carried French bouquets of pink carna tions. John Burgess of Junction City acted as best man for the bride groom while Daniel Criswell of Days Creek and Timolhy and Mick ey Wall of Tillamook were ushers. Miss Lynn Oueletle of Sutherlin was maid of honor. Her gown was! of pale green organa fashioned with a full gathered skirt below a wide, pleated cummerbund of deeper green. Her accessories were a headpiece ot pale green which held a lluunce of matching net, and matching satin shoes. She carried ! a nosegay of pink and white car nations. Hridesmatds were Miss Janice Kenwisher of Portland and Miss F.ileen Kenwisher, sisters of the bridegroom, and Miss Beverly (iinter. They were altired in gowns styled identically lo that of the maid of honor, but in shades of pink, with pink accessories and also carried nosegays of pink and white carnations. Camllelighlcrs were Miss Judy Alto of Sutherlin and Miss Diana Banister of Lake- view. Their gowns and accessories ' matched those of the bridesmaids. They wore wristlets of pink carna tions and carried white candles tied with pink satin bows. The newlyweds were both grad uated from Sutherlin High School, and the new Mrs. Kenwisher at tended Southern Oregon College. He attended Oregon Stale College before joining the Kenwisher Log ging Co. of Sutherlin. Mrs. Elton Beaty, Mary Ann Fagen and Marie Fagan, bridesmaids, wore mint green dresses of embroidered ny- Wilbanks-Fitzpatrick Wedding Event At Home The wedding of Doris Fitzpalrlck and Jes Wilbanks, both of Canyon ville, was held July 21 at the home of the bride's daughter, Mrs. Frank Ritchey in Riddle. The Rev. Donald Campbell of the First Meth odist Church in Canyonville and Myrlle Creek performed the cere mony in the presence of 25 guests and relatives. The home's decorations consisted of bouquets of gladioli and sweet peas. Recorded music in the back ground added to the impressive rites. The bride was attractive In a sheath gown of rose laee over tnf feta. She wore a whilo gladioli corsage. Mrs. John Terry and Leon Wil banks, son of the bridegroom, at tended the couple. A reception was given after the ceremony at the Ritchie home. A beautifully decorated wedding cake was served with other re freshments by Mrs. Terry and Mrs. Ritehcy.
