"My father-in-law's biggest complaint was that I wasn't re ligious enough," Griswold told of ficers. "1 attended all the church services, but I had to leave some of them early to go to work." Griswold, a supermarket stock clerk, married the minister'? stepdaughter, Judith, 20, about 16 months ago. The couple had been separated three times. Griswold said ho had filed for divorce. "My father-in-law married us, but he wholeheaitedly approved of our separation," police said Griswold told them. He it held for investigation of murder. Police said Griswold told them the final blow was ins stepfather's heart attack Sunday. He said his stepfather, Joseph Balqte, 52, worried about the couple's mar tial difficulties.
