TEEN FAIR is an interesting event of the week to be held on Jackson Street, between
Cass and Oak Avenues, Saturday, June 25, beginning at 7 p.m. The public is invited to;
help make this affair a success. The Teen Fair is an all-student project assisted by the
YMCA and through the excellent cooperation of the Roseburg Merchants Assn. as a bene-.
fit affair for YMCA summer activities benefiting the young people of this area.
A HIGHLIGHT of the event will be the style show beginning promptly at 7:45 p.m. Prin
cesses will each model a formal gown and a swim suit. Gary Meeks of KYES will be nar
rator and will spin the records for the dance to follow. Judges for the Teen Fair Queen
Contest will be Lyle Fennerand Lowell Slick of KQEN and John Williams of KRNR. Albert
Flegel, former Roseburg mayor, is donating a truck for use during the evening. ,
