Hucrest Teaching' Staff Complimented At Charming Luncheon

TO HONOR the Hucrest teaching staff, a charming luncheon party was arranged by the
executive board of the parents Tuesday at the beautiful home of Mr. and Mrs, L. 0.
Thomas at Ridgewood. The luncheon was served buffet style from a beautifully appoint
ed table and the small serving tables were arranged on the spacious patio overlooking
the swimming pool and a sweeping view of the valley and surrounding hills. '
TEACHERS at the top left are Wilma Phelps, Mickey Rogers, 'Carrie Willey, Marian
Johnson and Coral Hamm and the top right are Ellen Stonebraker, Frances Davis, Edith
Bowman, Eleanor Wilson, Myrtle Miller and Beverly Burgess. At the center left are R.
Cloyd Riffe, Bob Colley, Glenn Woodruff, Joe Scallon and Cecil Sherwood.
HOSTESSES for the charming affair are pictured at the lower left and lower right. In the
lower left picture are Mrs. L. 0. Thomas, Mrs. Bob Cowbrough, Mrs. Sidney Moon Jr.,
Mrs. H.' N, Butler and Mrs Franklyn Wilson. In the lower right picture ore Mrs. Jack
