Thompson now Is the adminis
trative assistant to Wilson and
director of public services and
development at Oregon. Both will
take over their new jobs at Min
nesota July l.
Thompson has been at Oregon
eight years. His first post there
was as an assistant professor of
murnalism.
Dump Ground At C. Valley Closed; New Site Is Sought

An alternate public dump ground
Is being sought by the Camas Val
ley Grange. The dump has been
located on ground controlled by the
Bureau of Land Management
which has closed the property for
the fire season, according to Louis
Pqpst, who has been in charge of
the grange activity. The closure be
comes effectiyeJuiwlSEfforts
are being made to find another
suitaoie area.
The report was made at a regu
lar meeting over which Leslie
Catchpole, master, presided. The
Grange obligations were conferred
upon Mr. and Mrs. waiter rncK
at and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Milton,
