    THE HELEN SAAR combined kindergarten classes pre
sented a graduation program' for their parents and friends
iin the school room at 10 a.m. Thursday. The theme was
"A Parade of Months." September was a circus, Octobar
was ghosts and witches, November had an Indian group,
December was Christmas toys, January presented a cowboy
drill, February had a minuet, March was a group of kites,
April showed a bunny dance and May had a Maypole
wind. Graduation diplomas were presented to the children
and a report was made of progress to the parents. Pictured

read a beautiful poem in their

hood and Christianity in the home.

regular meeting held at the Ma

Regular meetings the first and
third Wednesdays of June will be

Party Held On Friday
Mrs. Oscar Burke was a gra
cious hostess Friday at a house
hold party at her home in Melrose.

cital this spring at a musical tea

Beautiful piano selections were
played, after which a social hour
was enjoyed. Prizes were award
ed. Reading of fortunes found in
tho tea cookies were part of the
afternoon social.
Miss Brbro Skoog, who is being
graduated from high school this
year and who is entering the Uni
versity of Washington in Septem
ber as a drama and music major,
was presented a corsage and gifts
from Mrs. Marosok.

and throughout the rooms. Lovely
