Apartment House Razed
PORTLAND (AP) - Fire de
stroyed a two-story apartment
building here Wednesday, but the
four families that occupied it fled
without injury.
Fire department investigators
estimated the loss at about S20.000.
The cause was not determined immediately.
Bart Nordling spent several days
last week on a business trip in the
Salem vicinity.
The Fev. Harry Fennington ar
rived this week from Nigeria, Af
rica, where he is serving as a
missionary, to attend the gradua
tion of his daughter, Janet, from
Canyonville Bible Academy.
