WITH THE ARRIVAL OF SPRING, many turn their thoughts toward fashions. Today's
society feature page shows five young people from Roseburg home on vacation from
University of Oregon and modeling some of the spring fashions, which will be seen on the
campus this season,
STEVE DORSEY, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dorsey, is pictured top left wearing a light
weight corduroy sport suit with beige colored top coat. Steve is a sophomore majoring in
sociology.
KENNETTE KIRK, (top right) daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kirk, is a fourth-year
nursing student at University of Oregon Medical School Hospital. She is pictured in a red
and white spring dress with fitted bodice and full skirt.
JENNIE MURPHY, sophomore in liberal arts, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M.
Murphy (right cen'er), is shown wearing a two-piece beige tailored cotton spring dress,
with full pleated skirt and bolero jacket buttoning down the back.
BILL NEUNER, lower left, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Neuner, is o sophomore major
ing in business administration and is a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity. He is shown
wearing one of the new tailored sports shirts in polished cotton with light-weight corduroy
lacks.
JANET LEWIS, lower right, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Lewis, is a junior majoring
in mathematics, is shown wearing one of the new white basket-weave spring tailored
coats with o small black hat. All three of the girls are members of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
