Harfields Chaperon Mr. and .Mrs. .'. M Hatfield chaperoned a group uf Sunday school young peuple froni the Church of the Latter Hay Saints. They went to the Kenlon-l.ane Park fur swimming and a ueiner roast, h Id on the indoor patio at the pool side. Their son and uaush ter. Bobby and Francis were among the young people attending. l.yle Bostwick drove to Salem on business and went on to Portland to visit his son. Kenneth Bostwick and family. He also visited his son, George Bostwick and tamily at Hood Kiver and his daughter, Mrs. Vernon Kodgers, and family at Eslacada. Mr. and Mrs. Kmmett Walter-, have returned home from a seven weeks vacation in California. They made their headquarters at Surf tides, Calif. From there they vis ited Palm Springs and went out on the dessert. They met Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kuck of Winchester and with them attended the dale festival at lndio. A trip was made down into Mexico for a tew days, returning home they stopped at Stockton to visit her sister, Bess Johnson and husband.
