Brown announced that he is tak ing a position as salesman for the southwest Oregon district for a wa ter control equipment company. Brown operated the Standard sta tion at 561 SE Stephens St. for 3'j ' years until it was destroyed by the explosion of Aug. 7. When the new Chevron station was completed at Cavalier, he opened tnis business on a lease basis last Nov. 26. Hi had also worked for Standard Oil in Coos Bay and Grants Pass. Baker has been with Standard Oil Co. for 15 years eight of which have been in Roseburg. He will change the name of the new station to Baker's Cavalier Chevron. He stated that .'ohn Gage will continue to be employed there. Baker is married and has two children. Worden also is married and has three children.
