Tavern Brawl Results In Suit CHII-OQl'lN ( AP) A man who was shot twice in a tavern fight here last summer is asking S.U.000 damages in a suit against the city. Melvin Chiloquin named the city cntincilmen and city recorder as defendants in the suit. The city operates the tavern in Chiloquin, which is on the Klamath Indian Reservation. Police said Melvin Chiloquin got into an argument with bartender Albert F. I -sick in the tavern July 14. Police said that later shots were fired, and Chiloquin struck by bullets in the chest and leg. At the time police said Chiloquin had a knife in his hand and Lesick was acting in self defense. Ullman Requests Chrome Support WASHINGTON (AP) Congress was asked Wednesday to estab lish a guaranteed price for do mestic chrome production. Rep. Al lllman (D-Orel intro duced the hill which would limit the guaranteed price to 50. (KK1 tons a year with individual producers being restricted to sales of not more than 5,000 tons a year. Six Bills Killed By House Group SALKM (AP) - Th House Committee on Alcohoiia Control Wednesday kilted six bills, includ ing one which would have made sacramental wine tax-free for churches. Another bill which was tabled would have allowed a discount of 10 per cent on purchases of 6U bottles of liquor from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission.
