Wallace Mentxer Hurt
When Tractor Tips Over
Wallace Mentzer, 31, of 1688 NW
Crouch St., suffered bruises and
contusions Wednesday when a trac
tor tipped over and the canopy hit
both of his legs.
He is reported in satisfactory
condition today at Douglas Com
munity Hospital. The tractor was
being loaded onto a .carrier when
a plank broke tipping the machine.

The Roseburg chapter of the Ore
gon Music Teachers' Assn. met
recently at the home of Miss Glad
ys Strong, and following the busi
ness meeting, held a program on
Oriental music.
Mrs. Gene Cooksey was in
charge. Recordings were played,
illustrating the different types of
Oriental music in varioua countries.
