The building was donated by California-Oregon
Power Co. Eswine,
with a group of members of dif
ferent clubs and volunteer resi
rienls, were tearing it down for
transport to Glide. Twenty-four peo
ple took part in the operation.

drove the truck to haul the timber
to the Glide site of the club. It is a
lot owned by the Glide Kiwanis
Club. It is located west of the
Glide Sporting Goods store and has
a 325-foot frontage on the North
Umpqua Highway.
It was announced that more vol
unteer workers are needed for next
weekend. Men wishing to stay over
night at the job may sleep in the
Toketee Falls School gymnasium.
