felt the figure of 31,500 a. "very

In preparation for the demand
of more services that is expected
to come with the population
growth, the Corvallis city council
has authorized a study of the wa
ter distribution system and the
sewer system to determine needs.
In the same breath, the council
approved a study of the water
rates to decide the charge that
will be required to pay for the
expansion of the system. Porter
expects the voter, to be asked to
approve a $1,000,000 bond issue
for the water system expansion.
