Set At Tri-City
By RUTH EVANS
A second meeting of a group of
interested archers will be held

Veteran's Memorial Building in
Tri-CITY.
Plans were made to promote an
archery show in the South Doug

tative date for the show to include
talks by prominent people in arch

archers in Oregon; a movie on
bow hunting in Canada, and dis
plays of various archery equip
ment has been set lor Nov. lz.
1. M. Wells of Tri-City conduct
ed the meeting and brought out
the point that it might be wise to
form one parent archery club and
have various branches of the club
in each of the surrounding towns.
He stated further that strength
can be gained in numbers and yet
it provides natural competition oe
tween the sub-teams.
There will be no attempt made
to organize a club prior to the
archery demonstration. Any per
son living in Southern Douglas
County interested in archery, is
welcome to attend the Oct. 23 meet
