After dominating play for most
of the three quarters of the game,
Hoseburg's Indians relented and
gave up a fourth period touchdown
to their rivals in taking a 14-7 non
league football decision over Ash

night.
It was the Indians' second
straight success of the new sea

week they tangle with Grants Pass.
Roseburg put together a yardage
making running attack through
much of the contest, but it was
a perfectly - executed long aerial,
in their only passing attempt of
the night, that broke the scoring
ice late in the second panel.
The locals' second and game-deciding
touchdown came early in
Ihe third period on a three-yard
drive over guard hy 160-pound half
hack Jerry Humphries. Brent Long
booted both conversions.

Roseburg gave up seven points

The winners appeared to be in
complete control of the contest
with a 14 0 lead early in the fourth
