Gk'ason, who said the program
might save the county $40,000 in
layoffs if an epidemic occurs this

Theater Added To Grounds
Fairgoers this year will find ex-

tire fair. Dances will be in prog

The Davis Amusement Co. car
nival, which occupied that area
last year will be set up on the
track and infield south of the
grandstand. 11 will include side
shows, concessions, and about 12
to 15 rides.
To bring color to the grounds,
the fair staff built its own green
house and raised about 30,000 to 50,
000 shrubs and flower plants under
the direction of Hazel Smith. In
future years plantings will be add
ed to and perennials will replace
many of the annuals to provide
permanent plantings.
