Twelve new teachers have been
hired by the Glide School District,
Harry Harvie, superintendent of
schools, reports.
They are Calvin Christensen,
Gene Rosaschi, John C. Bigelow,
Ronald Hicks, Diane Horn, Mrs.
Kathleen Vaughn, Mrs. Edith
Meshew. Delbert Peterson. Robert
C. Barnes, Patricia Mayo, Laura
Larsen and Mrs, Berlva Pritchard.
New principal of Deer Creek
Schools will be Calvin Christensen.
The University of Portland gradu
ate is married and has three chil
dren. For the past two years he
has served as principal of Arago,
ure.
Social studies and English will
be taught at Glide High School by
Rosaschi. Bigelow, who has been
hired as instrumental music direc
tor, graduated from the Univer
sity of Oregon and has just been
released from the Army where he
played in an Army band. He is
married and does not have any
children.
Wrestling at the high school may
be taught by Hicks. His definite
assignment is the eighth grade
at the junior high school. Miss Horn
will teach English in the high
school. She graduated from the
University of Oregon this spring
and has served as the Roseburg
Christian Church Youth Director.

has been made up, but the dates
are subject to change, M. C. De!
