Minor Damage Caused
In Test Of Boeing Plane
' SEATTLE 11 A fire officials
said started from an overheated
braking system caused minor
damage Wednesday to the Hoeing
Airplane Co.'s 707 jot airliner.
The company said the plane was
undergoing high speed taxing tests
at Boeing field here. Officials said
a preliminary investigation indi
cated fluid from the hydraulic
system apparently spilled onto
overheated brakes after one quick
stop and flames erupted. The crew
quickly put out the fire which was
confined to the brake area and rear
two tires of the landing gear. It
caused minor damage to an ex
tended wing flap.
