For Alaska Firefighters
PORTLAND W The Bureau
of Land Management's regional
office said here Wednesday it has
received an emertiendy "call for
firefiiflitint! supervisors to go to
Alaska.
It said it was informed that 15
fires are hunting on BLM land
some of them major.
The bureau said from 12 to H
supervisors from its five Oregon
districts and from California will
be sent as soon as they can be
rounded up and their plane trans
portation arranged.
