Slates Rummage Sale
The Women's Society of Chris
tian Service of the Days Creek
Community Methodist Church will
hold a rummage sale in Canyon
ville Thursday, Nov. 29, from 10
a.m. until 4 p.m. in the building
next to the Greyhound Bus depot.
Mrs. Raymond Perry is chair
man of the sale and is being as
sisted by Mrs. Durnin Swingley
and other women of the group.
Donations of rummage and white
elephants are solicited. Donors
may bring their rummage to the
church basement at any time, or
telephone Mrs. Richard Snyder,
Canyonville 3037, and the rum
mage will be picked up.
The society held its regular pro
gram meeting last week, with Mrs.
Ralph Martin, program chairman,
in charge. The program was on
the United Nations.

The church now has a teen-age:
choir, and the next meeting will:
be spent working on choir robes.
