Frank Brand have returned to their
home on Overlook, following a trip
to Berkeley, Calif., to attend the
wedding Wednesday of their son,
Earl, to Edith Lovelt, at tne first
Congregational Church. The bride
is supervisor of school cafeterias
for Alameda County. They will
spend their honeymoon at coasiai
points and are expected to arrive
in Roseburg the latter part of next
week U spend a few days before re
turning to California to make their
home.
To Visit Mrs. Vivian Coon left
Friday for Sacramento, Calif., to
visit her daughters, Mrs. Tom
Straughan. the former Karalce
Hickman, and Mrs. Vic Hughes and
children. Gary and Ivarcn. Mrs
Hushes was the former Darlene
Hickman. Both Mrs. Coon and
Mrs. Hughes attended grade school
in Roseburg. They are granddaugh
ters of Mr. and Mrs. iioy nose oi
this city. Mrs. Coon went to Sac
ramento especially to await me
birth of the Slraughans' first baby.
