Return To Dillard
Rv ROSA BEINBACH
Mr. and Mrs. William i'airfoul,
formerly of Dillard, have returned
to visit their son, Mr. and Mrs.
Frederick Gibbs, and children, Ted
dy and Sharon. Thev have been liv-
ine in Kanccll. Alaska, for the
past eighteen months and are now
seeking a location in their former
neighborhood. Kairfoul worked
at the Ford's mill prior to- going
to Alaska.
Word has been received from
Mr. and -Mrs. James R. McAlpine
that thev have decided to locate in
southern California. They left Dil
lard the first of March for a vaca
tion trip and McAlpine is now em
ployed in Pasadena where they
will stay indefinitely.
Mr. and Mrs. Darell L. Bushnell
and son, Kelly, of Grants Pass,
were Dillard visitors last week and
they attended the wedding of Mrs.
Bushnell's brother, Richard Ander
son, to Joan Mclnlire in Roscburg.
Mr and Mrs. Marvil Selby and chil
dren, Richard, Betty Anne and
Mike Anderson, formerly lived for
several years in Dillard.
Extensive improvement Is being
made on the family residence of
Mrs. Mercy Buell also at her new
home on Church street. The re
modeling and improving is being
done by a Portland siding com
pany. William Featherslone, 86-year-old
grandfather of Don Gibbs, has
been visiting the family for the
past two months. Fealhcrstone has
also been visiting his son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wal
ter Sinclair, in Roseburg, and
has now left for Prineville, to visit
other relatives.
