OLD HOUSE This is the home of Nina Pietzold, Canyonville justice of peace. The
house is one of the oldest in the county; but is in excellent condition. Her father was
James M. Gross, long-time resident of Canyonville.

built in 1862, is probably the oldest business building
still standing in th county from those early days. It
is held together by wooden pegs, rather than nails. It

comers, who came in on the wave of a recent prosperity.
An indication is the trailer home of Mr. and Mrs. Donald
A. Jenkins. It is taking on a permanent look, however,
with the addition of a spacious enclosed porch.
