Are In Train Wreck

A former Canyonville resident.
Mrs. H. M. Anderson, and her two
small sons, Gary and Dale, nar
rowly escaped disaster in the Sun
day night southern California tram
wreck according to reports receiv
ed by Canyonville friends Monday.
Mrs. Anderson and her sons were
board the train wrecked between
Los Angeles and San Diego, where
they now reside. They sustained
slight injuries which sent them to
a hospital. They were to have
been released Monday, it was re
ported. - -Attend

en noodle supper on Jan. 27. serv
ing will begin at p.m. The wom
en are asked to bring two dishes.
The Tenmile Ladies Club will have
a table of handmade articles for
sale and ask anyone who have any
thing to contribute for this sale to
bring it with them or give to some
club member. The proceeds from
the supper and sale of articles con
tributed will be turned in to the
polio fund. The public is invited.
