The recognition banquet will
start at 5:.10. The program will
honor all unit leaders. It will in
clude presentation of National
Camping Awards, Silver Beaver
Awards and installation of council
officers. The program will close
with a special ceremony at 8:30

Library System
TIip Glendale City Council is now
considering whether or not to in
clude the Glendale library in the
Douglas County library system.
Mim Carol Trimble, county li
brarian invited the council to con
sider such a move at its regular
meeting this week, according to
correspondent .Mrs. d. B. Fox.
Miss Trimble stated that under
the county library system books
would he rotated to xive the Glen
dale library a new supply regu
larly. She said further that certain
rare and out-of-print books mi?ht
ha retained, according to local de
cision. t.'nder the county system, Glen
dale would be asked to provide
the building, lights and heat. The
city already has these. The city
can also recommend a librarian.
The county will provide circulation
of books and pay the librarian.
The librarian also visited the
Glendale library with two assist
ants while in Glendale.
The City Council was not asked
to make an immediate decision,
but appeared to favor the incorpor-

automobile accident suit for dam
ages in circuit court.
