Days Creek High Carnival Is Tonight
Days Creek High School will Using chairman, and Arline
hold its annual Carnival Friday,
beginning at 8 p.m., in the school
gymnasium. According to faculty
advisor George Marquess, there
will be a new booth, in addition
to the favorite booths of previous
years.

carnival includes Lindon Powell

Proceeds from the annual affair
are split between the four classes
and the student body. Students
have charge of all th booths.
Voting for the king and queen
of the carnival have been in pro
cess at the various public places
in Days Creek. Candidates are:
seniors, Lindon Powell and Donna
Martin; juniors, Sharon Clark and
Red McKenzie; sophomores, Mike
Nimsic and Louetta Saulsberry,
and freshmen, Florette McGee and
Vernon Lowry. Jars for votes will
be supplied at the Carnival with
the count being taken about 10
p.m.
