"Bang-up entertainment" at the
Douglas County Fair Saturday and
Sunday evening has been prom
ised by Manager Dick Turley.
Moto-Polo, a popular feature at
the 1954 fair, wijf again be part of
fair fun, Turley said. It is a new
kind of polo show, played with six
stripped - down specially -' con
structed "roll over" cars.
Two teams, each three cars
strong, compete. The cars have
roll bars and are equipped with
circular bumpers.
Team members attempt to roll
up scores by pushing a seven foot
rubber ball through a goal. Goal.'
are placed at the ends of the field

Rules are enforced, by a referee,
who drives a car equipped speci

The unique polo game is packed
with collisions, spills and car mix
ups, Turley said. The rough and
tumble game has thus far been
accident free, due to safety pre
cautions in preparing the vehicles
for game time, Turley added.
Children under 16 years of age
will be admitted free. Price for
adults is SO cents.
