arrested Thursday on an indict
ment charging misuse of a secret
Air Force document, Friday ob
tained a postponement of his ar
raignment until Sept. 2.

Van Fosson was an investigator
for the House Un-American Activi

organize the Communist Party in
the United States, but was expelled
from the party by Joseph Stalin
in 1929.
Van Fosson was dropned from
his committee post when Rep. Wal
ter (D-Pa) took over as chairman
this year.
