charge of the Bible school with
Mrs. R. L. Falk and Mrs. Daniels
assisting. Mrs. Falk and Mrs. Don
ald Maclvor are in charge of dec
orating. Theme of the school will
"Pioneering With Christ.'
Plans are to continue the school
for two weeks, according to Mrs.
Daniels.

continues to improve in health,
Mr. Schumacher said.
Leon Neis fished the Little Des
chutes river, Memorial weekend.
He and his party took 17 German
brown trout, one of which was 19
inches long. The Neis family had
been visiting relatives in the Eu
gene area and picnicked Memorial
Day at Black Canyon Forest Camp
above Lookout Point dam. This
past Sunday the Neises visited the
Glenn Gilmores at Glendale. The
Gilmores are former Canyonville
residents.
Work has begun on the paint-un.
repair and clean up campaign at
the Canyonville Methodist church
with the Rev. Ernestine Hitchcock
setting a good example by paint
ing the porch ceiling herself Mon
day. James and Larry Fuller are lay
ing new floor on the porch re
placing that which was worn out.
Young people of the church are
also recruited to help with the
painting program.
Two CBA alumni are in Canyon
ville for the summer vacationing
from uieir college studies.

attending school at Lakeland, Fla..

Engen.
Allan Hathaway will spend the
summer here with his parents Mr.
and Mrs. Vernie Hathaway. He at
