TRAFFIC FATALITY
' PORTLAND UH A car, failing
to make a turn east of the city
early Thursday, ripped out i six
inch steel post imbedded in con
crete at a service station and the
driver was thrown out to his death.
The victim, Eugene Goodman
35, was alone in the car.
Fortunately for most of ns,
we don't have to pay cash for
everything we buy. We can
take advantage of the liberal,
flexible system of consumer
credit which enables us to buy
and enjoy the things we want,
when we want them, and to
pay for them later. Whether
our income is large or small,
we can enjoy the privilege of
buying almost anything, any
where, if our credit record Is
good.
And the only way to main
tain a good credit record is to
buy only what you know you
can pay for and py for it
on the date it is due.
