ens, in Roseburg. "Katzenbach and Warren's new collec
tions are the most original and beautiful that those inter
ested in new wallpaper in their homes, ever feasted their
eyes upon, and they cost no more than ordinary papers."
However, this is only one of the nationally known lines
of wallpaper that Morgan Decorators makes available to
homeowners, and commercial firms, in the Roseburg
region. There are approximately 150 books of the latest
and most original wallpaper samples from which to make
selections at Morgan Decorators. These include Birge,
Imperial, Stockwell in addition to the Katzenbach and
warren natural illustrations, and others.

both nativei of the ttate of Iowa,
and both understand the tech

decorating. When the Homiu

New Store Established
The painting and interior dec
orating business grew to such pro
portions that, both Don and Fay
Morgan decided that they could
improve their service to f- jtom
ers and have a wider field jf dem
onstrations, by establishing an em
porium where displays could be
impressively made, and merchan
dise available at retail, for the pa
trons who desired to do their own
work. Accordingly June 1, 1952 the
Morgan Decorators store, at 517
South Stephens street, was open
ed.
The store Is well arranged for
the display of merchandise which
is available at retail. This includes
a complete stock of paints manu
factured by the W. P. Fuller com
pany. These paints are made on
the west coast, and years ago,
when this paint factory was estab
lished, paint formulas were work
ed out and tested to give effect
to weather conditions. This makes
for a longevity of wear that cannot
be secured from paints which are
manufactured for universal use in
all sections of the nation.
Fuller Paints have always been
recognized for the superior diver
sity of color blending for both in
terior and exterior use. Authentic
color harmonies can be selected
at Morgan Decorators, and the
paints can be mixed and blended
to harmonize with the individual
environment and surroundings
wnere iney are to ne usea. The
background of 28 'years painting
experience makes it possible for
Don Morgan to aid the customers
in making blended color selections
I that are best suited for their par
! ticular exterior or interior paint
ing. I Custom Drapery Service
I A wide disnlav of drancrv ma
terials is also to be found at this
store which includes chintzes, Glo
shecn. bark cloth, linens, ravons.
silks, chromspuns etc. Fay Morgan
has had many years experience in
the drapery field. Draperies will
be made by Fay Morgan on a cus
tom basis, for the individual cus
tomers. From 1930 to 1949, Fay
Morgan was employed as a seam
stress in the larger garment arid
drapery factories in Omaha. Ne-
; braska. She is always pleased to
discuss the type of fabrics that
i should be used for custom draper
; ies, and explain how they will be
made to fit the individual environ
: ment. After the decision is reach
i ed these draperies are made by
j Fay Morgan and installed,
j A diversified stock of Gould's
and Marshal-McMurray drapery
j hardware is carried in stock from
which the customer may select the
: type of hardware desired for the
; custom draperies made by Fay

I the retail store during business
hours and Invites those interested
in interior decorating to visit the
store and discuss their needs and
desires.
A Painttr All of Hit Life
Don Morgan has been identi
fied with commercial painting and

Don resigned his position with
the Langenfeld Studio to accept the
superintendence of the decorating
department of the Orchard
and Wilhelm Furniture company,
the largest .store of its kind in
Omaha, Nebraska. He remained in
this position until 1949 when the
Morgans decided to come to Rose
burg. These years of experience make
it possible for the Morgans to do
artistic as well as practical inter
ior decorating and provide all of
Uie materials in addition to doing
the actual work. They both can
rightfully live up ta the title "Mor
gan Decorators."
Auxiliary to tne general interior
decorating wok as outlined, the

Vertical blinds on a custom basis.
These vertical blinds consist of
celonese ribbons, which, unlike Ve

cording to Don Morgan, all that is
necessary to clean Sun Vertical
Blinds is to place them in a wash
ing machine, hang them cut to
dry, then put them bade in .place
looking like new. Sun Vertical
Blinds are custom built and install
ed by Morgan Decorators.
