CRUSADING PASTOR THWARTED The Rev. Braxton
B. Sawyer, anti-nudist crusader from Fort Smith, Ark.,
sprawls in the dirt where he fell after his efforts to make .
motion pictures at the American Sunbathing Association
convention at Battle Creek, Mich., failed. Armed with
an invitation and the movie camera Dr. Sawyer was asked
to remove his clothes before entering the nudist camp :
a requirement for all visitors. "Never," stormed Dr.
Sawyer. The closest Sawyer got to the bare facts were 20
barechested guards who stopped him at the' gate and
scuffled with him. (AP).
