HONORS MRS HAGER
Mrs. Betty Hager was the honor
guest at a pink and blue shower
oiun Thursday at the home oi Mrs.
Rex Hager in Glendale. The gifts
were arranged in a bassinet beau

white crepe paper ruffles. The
shower theme was carried out by
an umbrella, similarly aecoraien
with pink and white ruffles with

IN CANYONVILLE
Final plans for the Smorgasbord,
bazaar and Christmas movie to be
held Dec. 5 were outlined Monday
night by Mrs. Norman Hanson,
general chairman of the affair, to
the membtrs of ' the Wesleyan
Guild of the Canyonville Methodist
Church who met at the home of
Mrs. Fred Searle.
The smorgasbord, a buffet style
dinner featuring "all you can eat,"
will he served continuously from
6 p.m. at the Canyonville Methodist
Church Saturday, Dec. 5. A Ba
zaar will be held at the sme time
and a movie, ' The Greatest Gitt,
will be shown as soon as every
one has been served. The 30-min-
ute feature will be followed oy a
short cartoon "Santa Claus and
