Riversdale School Starts '
Student Hot Lunch Program

Rivendale School Monday with a
large percentage of pupils partici

Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Epler
and eon, Carl, have left for their

Mrs. Epler visited here two weeks
with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Burkhart
and other friends and were joined
for the last week by their son, who
had been visiting in uamornia

Bobby returned to their home Sun
day from a week spent in Port
land on business,
Mr. and Mrs. Davis are living
In the Marks apartment. Mrs.
Davis is the Garden Valley school
teacher. . .
Gordon Jones, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Jones, is still confined
to his home after having been ill
. for two weeks.
Attend Christening
Mr. and Mrs. Virgel Signor and
Mr. and Mrs. James Fuller
of Eugene visited Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Bert Griffin and baby
Louise Marie. The two couples
were godparents at the baptismal
ceremony for Louise Marie.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kruse took
Indiana visitors Mr. and Mrs. Nor
wood Epler to Crater Lane recent
ly. Mrs. J. M. Burkhart took the
visitors to Eugene to see Mr. and
Mrs. Allen Burkhart.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Griffin and
daughter, Louise Marie, are mov
ing this weekend to Eugene to
make their home.
Return From Utah ,
Mr. and Mrs. John Burkhart
have returned to their home from
a three-week trip to Utah where
they attended a family reunion.
They were accompanied by Mr.
and Mrs. F. F. Criteser. They
spent a week on their trip home
and took in many points of inter
est along the way, including Boul
der Dam and Zion and Bryce Can
yons.
Mrs. teste Follett and family
spent Armistice Day in eastern
nrppnn visiting relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Kruse and

Monday from Coos Bay where
they were called last week by the
sudden death of Mrs. Kruse's fa
ther, Orval Kibbey.
