white holders. A favor was given
each guest.
As interesting program was pre
sented with musical selections and
the crowning of the Queen and

Manor was the scene of a shower
honoring Mrs. Charles Dowd Fri
day evening. Mrs. Axt, Mrs. John
Norman and Mrs. John Bingham
Jr., were co-hostesses.
The table held a centerpiece of
pink carnationa and nut cups of
pink flannel made by Mrs. Nor
man. The cake was decorated with
pink buds, bonnets, bootees and a
blue baby dress.
The guest of honor wore a cor
sage of pink rosebuds given to ber
by Mrs. Axt.
