Some 40 odd years ago out at the old
Ten Mile one room school house, our
teacher. Hay Henderson, would tell us
boy s the story about the rich ol' King
who, on his death bed, told his five
sons they would find the hidden treas
ure seven to ten Inches under the
ground, and after these five ol' buys
had dug- up about all of the old home
stead, they finally figured out that
what their old pappy wanted them to
do was cultivate the old homestead.
So, then they planted a bunch of
grain and really found the treasure.
Now. folks, according to our school
master, this little ol' story was written
several thousand years ago I wasn't
therei and I feel the pitiful part of
the whole thing ithat they had to da
their diggin with a homemade spade.
