THE KRESS-WILKINSON WEDDING PARTY, above, Is
photographed following the marriage ceremony of Shirley
Rae Wilkinson and Leonard Halbert Kress, which took place
ot the First Baptist Church in Roseburg June 7. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph B. St. Onge. Below,
Mr. and Mrs. Kress cut the first piece of their wedding coke.

Beverly Wilkinson, sister of the
bride was maid of honor. Anita
S. Onge, sister-in-law of the bride,
was bridesmaid as was Janice Sin
clair. Ronald Kress, brother of the
bridegroom, was best man. Wal
ter Kauzlaurlch and Don Foster
were ushers. , i f
The bride was given In marriage
by her father, Ralph St. Onge.
She wore a traditional white satin
gown. Her bouquet was a nosegay
of pink carnations. The brides
maids wore blue formats and car
ried nosegays of dark rose carna
tions. ' Candlelighters were Kay
Gwaltney and Beulah Sutton.
The church wait decorated with
gladioli and red roses. The altar
was flanked with candelabra. Shir
ley Iverson sang "I Love You
Truly" and ''At Dawning" accom
panied by Mrs. Sam Warg at the
organ.
Following the ceremony, a re
ception was given in the church
parlors.- The bride'i mother wore
a navy blue dress with white ac
cessories. Her corsage was o(
white carnations. The bride
groom's mother wore a tight brown
suit with dark brown accessories.

For their honeymoon trip to San
Francisco, the bride chose to
wear a white suit with red acces
sories. ,

Miss Betty Crocker arrived In Eu
gene Thursday by plane from San
Francisco. Mrs. Warren Ward
of Roseburg met her there and
brought Miss Crocker back . to
Roseburg. Miss Crocker suffered
a fall from a street car in Srn
Francisco recently and has an in
jury to her leg. She will remain
here on ten-day leave at the home
of her mother,. Mrs. Ethel Oder
kirk. She is the secretary to Mel
Venter of "Breakfast Gang" rviio
fame.
