This year's tree Is 82 feet tall
and will be trimmed during the
week with 7.500 electric, lights and
4,000 plastic stars. It was lighted
Dec. 10.
The tree, a 75-year-old Norway
spruce, weighs almost 10 tons.
The star survey being mad at
the Palomar Observatory in Cali
fornia will number the stars and
systems of stars out to a distance
of 350 million light years.
