HEINLINE WILL PRESENT PROGRAM OVER RECITAL HALL Mrs. C. S. Heinllne, owner of "The Kiddies School" will present her Recital hall of the air Satur day evening at 5:45 o'clock over KRNR, at which time the first half of the program will feature singing numbers by children of the school. The children of the school have had only one month's training under the direction of Mrs. Hein line, who is assisted by Mrs. Har old Hoyt and Mrs. Elsie Hall. The second half of the program will be presented by Paula Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Smith, and who is one of the mos: outstanding piano pupils of Mrs. Heinline's. This afternoon, "The Kiddies School" children presented a pro gram for their parents. SUTHERLIN GRANGE HOLDS EVENING SESSION Sutherlin Grange met Wednes day evening at the Grange hall west of town with Worthy Master Lloyd Cornish presiding. Various matters of business were taken care of. Final plans were made for the banquet which the Grange ladies will put on Tuesday evening for the Associ ated Business Women's club. Mrs. Sclma Walters, lecturer, had charge of the program which consisted of singing hymns. YONCALLA METHODIST CHURCH WSCS ENTERTAINS A delightful afternoon was spent at the Yoncalla Methodist church Thursday when the WSCS enter tained at guest day. Homemade doughnuts, coffee and punch were served by Mrs. Dare Kingery, Mrs. Olive McKee and Mrs. Pontius from the table covered with a lace cloth and centered with large bunches of red and blue grapes and Kronen marigolds. Mrs. Sidney Lasswell, president, opened the meeting and Mrs. Luther Daugherty had charge of devotions, assisted by Mrs. J. IN. Sparks and Mrs. Elton Grass. The treasurer reported $85 taken in at the recent style show. Plans were made and commit tees appointed for the Christmas bazaar which will be held in De cember at the Epworth hall of the church. A homemade chicken noodle lunch will be served at noon. Mrs. Jack Bou cock and Mrs. Kingery gave a vivid description of the recent sub district meeting held at Drain. At the close of the business meet in''. Mrs. Harriett Harper, state relations chairman for the BPW of Myrtle Point gave a talk on "United Nations." A short radio skit by Mrs. Cabaness and Mrs, Currier closed the meeting. During the business meeting, conducted by the president, Mrs. Bernard Saar, a report was given on the success of the Beta Sigma Phi international day dinner held at the American Legion hall, Thursday evening, Oct. 4. Plans were discussed about holding a city Beta Sigma Phi dance in No vember. Following the business meeting an interesting program was presented by Mrs. Worth Da vis on the history of Mexico from the time of Cortez to the time of Maxmilian.
