Adventists Suffer Loss
In Auburn Academy Fire
AUBURN, Wash. (I?) A fire
spreading from a sawdust con
veyor belt destroyed the furniture
factory, boiler room and sawmill
af the Abum academy, Seventh
Day Adventist school four miles
east of here.
The loss was estimated by Hay
W. Fowler, an academy official,
at the Auburn academy, Seventh
including $15,000 worth of furniture
which was to have been shipped
out. He said insurance of $120,000
was carried.
Academy students worked In the
furniture factory to help pay their
way through school. It was one of
the Northwest's largest producers
of anpatnted furniture.
