Tau Eta Eta held the regular
meeting Monday evening and
planned many welfare activities.
Refreshments were served by the
hostess. Mrs. Georgia Raker, to
the following members: Mrs. Mil
dred Bailey, Mrs. Agnes Lindberg,
Mrs. Winnie Wilson, Mrs. Ruby
Travis, Mrs. Georgia Thies, Mrs.
Marty Wiley, Mrs. Morene Hall,
Mrs. Mart Hen and Mrs. Martha
Johnson.
The next meeting will be held
July 18 and Mrs. Hen will act
as hostess. The time and place will
be announced later.
GARDEN VALLEY CLUB
HOLDS MEETING TO
MAKE FUTURE PLANS
The Garden Valley Women's club
met at the clubhouse Thursday
with Mrs. John Sinclair and Mrs.
Si Madson, co-hostesses. The ba
zaar chairman was appointed and
plans were made for the bazaar
to be held in the fall. A club picnic
was planned for the evening of
July 21, the place to be selected
at the next meeting.

home immediately. Yesterday, Mr.
and Mrs. Chapman's daughter,
Evangeline, went to the Camp Fire
camp at Tyee, where she will re
main tor two weeks.
Vacationing Miss Zoe Newman
and her father, Al Newman of
925 Cobb street are vacationing at
the coast. While there, Miss New
man is visiting her sister, Mrs.
Irene Wilkinson and family of Em
pire. The vacation began July 1
and may last from ten days to
two weeks.
Hero On Furlough S. A. Er-
vin Stritzke, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Stritzke of Winchester, is
home on a twenty-day furlough.
He will report back to San Diego,
where he is on the navy track
team and has won cup and two
medals.

Oken told police, was $2,000 in
