Taylor and Robert Eugene Smith
March 10 in the First Baptist
church in Cool Bar wax a lame
event and is of much interest to
many resident! of Roseburg as
the bride'i mother ia .a former
lesident of this citv.
Lighted tapers and large bou
quets of lavender and while stock
formed the altar setting. Rev. Ce
cil Brown performed the double
ring ceremony. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dale
Taylor of Coos Bay and the bride
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
J. M. Smith of Portland.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a white sown of
satin made with a net yoke
trimmed with seed pearls. The full
skirt was made en-train. A satin
cap held her fingertip veil and
she carried a white shower bou
quet centered with an orchid.

branch of the U.S. National bank, where she it still employed.

wore a frock of orchid taffeta with

ers. A reception followed in the
church parlors. Mrs. K. H. Pick
ens cut the cake and Mrs. Ivan
Pickens and Mrs. Brewer Mills
presided at the serving table. Oth
