Mr. Coon is leaving April 1 for
Isleton. Calif., to be gone for an
indefinite period.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver lienry, wno
have resided on RiceCreek for the
past thirty years, have recently
purchased i new home in Winston.
They plan to move in the near
future.
Mr. and Mrs. McKay of Riddle
were visiting friends March IS on
the Smith family ranch on Rice
Creek.
Mrs. Alton Rice and Mrs. Charles
Hughes have been home for a few
days from Grants Pass where Mrs.
Hughes is receiving medical treat
ments. They returned to Grants
Pass Monday.
Mrs. Virginia Cutting, 7th grade
teacher of the Dillard school, has
been sick with pneumonia. Mrs.
Frank Drew is substituting for her.
Dan Laurance has recently pur
chased a new logging truck. He is
now logging out of Days Creek.
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Rice are the
proud owners of a new Ford sedan.
Gene Lesher, assisted by Rev.
Frank Drew spent Wednesday
working on the improvements in
the kitchen of the parsonage.
