ment, was held Thursday evening
at the Methodist church.
Mrs. W. V. Monger's talk, "Bible
Politics," won her the diamond
medal award. Other finalists were
Edward Hall, Beverly Nickcll,
Kenneth Reeder and Barbara
Marsh. Each contestant must have
won silver, gold and pearl medals
to be eligible for the diamond
medal contest.
Following the presentation of
the speeches. Rev W. A. Mac-
Arthur gave a talk on the i'romo-
tive Liquor Advertising measure
on the ballot and answered ques
tions concerning it. He. advised
that the measure be adopted.
