stroyed after the Civil war. But

Mrs. Walker thinks the state will
pay and pay. At six percent com
pound interest she figures the
bonds are worth $230,000.

Passes Away In Eugene
Mrs. Annie Randlett, a former
Roscburg resident, died at Sacred
Heart hospital in Eugene today, i
She was born in Leeds Village,
Quebec, on Jan. 8. 1864. In 18!M
she was married to Harrison'
Randlett of Lynn. Mass , who pre
ceded her in death. i
Mrs. Randlett lived in Rnseburg
for 26 years. The past six years,
she has resided in Eugene where
she was a member of the Christian
church. j
Surviving Mrs. Randlett are a
niece, H. W. Fair, Eugene, and a
great-niece, Mrs. J. R. Duren, Mc
Minnville. i
Private funeral service will be
held at the Simon-Lounsbury I
chapel in Eugene at 2:30 p. m. on
Wednesday.
